As dumb as the movie was, I watched it and had good time, thanks to two lovely ladies.) Saved by but two things: Piper Perabo and Lena Hedley, of Sarah Connors fame, as the lesbian couple. Imagine You and Me (a trite, conventional romcom where the director actually admitted (!) that it was trite and conventional, and decided to spice things up by making it a lesbo romcom. If you don't mind happy lesbian movies (I know I don't!), here's a few: Too talky, too pretentious by a mile, but hey, it does have happy ending and I guess hunks.) The Sex Movie (a low-budget dramedy shot mostly in one location, with token lesbos. If you can watch but ONE movie from my list, WATCH THIS! You won't regret.)
And one of the wittiest, funniest comedies I've ever seen, straight or gay. Goldfish Memory (my favorite LBGT-themed movie evar. Again, my gf loved this more than I, so take that as you will.) Outing Riley (hilarious coming out comedy with *drums* dummmmmmmmm Nathan Filon!) įreshmen Orientation (more of a teen com/comedy of errors than a 'gay' movie, but the gay guy here does get his boy in the end.
